Designed to help scientific and technical computing customers achieve new levels of application performance, the x382 server features dual Intel Itanium 2 processors, fast Ultra320 SCSI hot-swap HDDs, and up to 16GB of PC2100 ECC DDR memory. This 2U rack model is configured with dual 1.4GHz Intel Itanium processors, a 512KB L2 cache and 6MB L3 cache per processor, twin 73.4GB Ultra320 SCSI hot-swap hard drives and 2GB PC2100 ECC DDR SDRAM, expandable to 16GB.

In addition to the 400MHz front bus speed, the x328 contains three open PCI-X slots and a 24x10x24x8 (max. speeds) CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drive. Integrated RAID-1 functionality allows you to mirror the hard drives for data protection and increased availability.

The dual gigabit Ethernet jacks can handle your networking needs, while the ATI Rage XL graphics with 8MB SDRAM provide crisp visuals and supports resolutions up to 1600 x 1200.
